The U.S. Small Business Administration approved Gov. Roy Cooper’s request for a disaster declaration for small businesses that are suffering economic losses due to the coronavirus pandemic. The action enables affected businesses to apply for low-interest SBA disaster loans. Applicants may apply via SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoan.sba.gov. Other information is available at the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 1-800-659-2955.

NCWorks Career Center staff will continue to report to work as normal.Employers and Job Seekers are welcome to call the NCWorks Career Centers during normal business hours from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.Employers and Job Seekers may request an in person appointment; priority will be given to employers and job seekers who do not have internet access.
