*Yancey Co. numbers are lower than yesterday, a physician ordered tests and later the physicians decided to cancel the order. These are the latest numbers as of 10:15 am today.

Governor Roy Cooper’s Office New social distancing policies went into effect at 5 p.m. that require stores to limit the number of customers inside, mark 6 feet of distance near areas where people gather (such as checkout lines) and to disinfect routinely. Stores are also encouraged to provide hand sanitizer & face coverings for employees.
